Well, seeing that 65% of the US is overweight or even obese it’s no wonder there is a hatred for this pressure to get into a body like Barbie. The focus of the US has been in a superficial direction and we would like to help you rest at ease in this department. We aren’t going to attempt to starve you or squeeze you into clothes that could fit on what seems at times, an emaciated plastic figurine.
However, we do realize that many of you struggle with weight gain and it’s a daunting task to figure out what “diet” will actually work. First of all, I would like to suggest taking that word diet out of your vocabulary, maybe replace with WELLNESS PLAN.
Being on a “diet” often frustrates people because the word alone implies a chore that has to be done-not usually something someone is excited to do. Being on a diet typically works for a short duration and not long term; which is excruciatingly frustrating to anyone going through it.
A Wellness Plan is something that can be adopted over time, day in and day out that becomes a lifestyle, not a diet. A Wellness Plan is something to get excited about and that you can feel great about; knowing it can have a lasting effect on a healthy life.
